Terms and conditions.

These terms describe the scope of our support, the technical requirements and the responsibilities that apply to services provided by ARQFILES.

  1. 01.Service not listed in our portfolio

    If the solution you need is not in our catalog, contact us through any of our channels. We will reply within 12 hours.

    When the solution is not available immediately, our technical team will study the case in depth and assess every feasible development option. We commit to exhausting every reasonable technical path to resolve it.

  2. 02.Persistent diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in an ARQFILES file

    Our service includes comprehensive after-sales support. If error codes remain after the file is installed, we will review and adjust the file at no extra charge.

    The initial fee already covers these technical assists, including any OBD-II read and write operations needed to make the correction.

  3. 03.The vehicle does not start after the modified file is installed

    For immediate assistance you must send us a video showing the vehicle starting correctly with the original file and the fault that appears with our file. You must also attach the active DTC codes from the ECU (engine) and the TCM (transmission).

    Our technical team will assess all the evidence and analyse the case in depth in order to offer a solution.

  4. 04.Loss or damage of the vehicle’s original file (backup)

    Depending on the condition of the file and the type of recovery required, we offer the following options:

    • Backup recovery: if you lost the file you previously sent us, you may request it and we will resend it immediately at no extra charge.
    • Factory file: if the original file you sent is corrupt or damaged, we can supply the model-specific factory virgin file. This service has an additional cost of 20 USD.
    • Virginizing: if you need a virginizing process, including immobilizer or EEPROM reset, we can perform this advanced technical service for an additional fee that will be quoted before work begins.

  5. 05.Requirements for remote reading and writing via OBD-II

    To protect the control units and ensure a successful process, the following conditions must be met throughout the session:

    • Keep a battery charger connected to the vehicle and confirm that the battery is in good condition.
    • Do not open or close the vehicle doors unless the technician expressly instructs you to.
    • Use high-quality USB cables in perfect condition whenever they are required.
    • Maintain a stable internet connection throughout the process.

  6. 06.Legal, warranty and compliance considerations

    • Some modifications, such as DPF, AdBlue, EGR or GPF OFF, may affect emissions systems and be regulated or prohibited in certain jurisdictions. The customer is responsible for knowing and complying with the applicable rules in their country or region.
    • ARQFILES does not physically disable hardware components. We provide rollback mechanisms and technical records to support recovery and audit processes.
    • For OEM or fleet integrations we propose test, validation and technical-acceptance stages before any mass deployment, plus a specific terms document for both parties when needed.
